Cable Drum Jacks are a simple efficient and cost effective method of enabling the payout of cable from large capacity drums. Autoreel Cable Drum Jacks comprise of multi position sliding carriage within a vertical guide mounted on a hydraulically operated lifting jack, all of which is supported by a robust, triangular based frame.

To operate simply insert the drum support shaft through the drum ensuring that the spacers are in position. Roll the drum up to the Cable Drum Jacks and adjust the hook to a suitable position on the sliding carriage. Then by operating the hydraulic rams the Drum is raised clear of the ground and free to rotate. This operation can be carried out quickly and safely by only one man. By tilting the Jacks onto their wheels they become easily portable around the working area.
